in between

Tomorrow we leave for our next stop, leaving behind three of our riders who have to stay and do community service in the city of Clinton. We are sad to be separated now for the second time. We have a lot of amazing stops coming up, and I cannot wait to write about the next one. Check back for an update on Monday night or Tuesday.

Below is the multimedia portion of our Human Rights presentation that I am a part of:

I want to extend my apologies on behalf of the MC student body... Personally, I thought your visit was a very positive experience. I'm a freshman Christian Studies major, and I may not agree with your views, but I now realize that it is an issue of civil rights. The conversations I had with you guys made me think, and I like that. I'm praying for you guys in your travels and for your future stops.

good to know that you're doing okay out there. i'm terribly ashamed but not surprised of your treatment at Baylor. However, it sounds like your visit is leading to a nice amount of progress there. I hope that your fellow riders will be alright in Clinton as you proceed. Will they be catching up with you later on?

J. yep. it's me.
